PGT–A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidies)
- Used to assess embryos for chromosomal abnormalities
- Can be used to diagnose Down Syndrome

PGT-M (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Monogenic/Single-Gene Disorders)
- Used to assess embryos for genetic diseases
- Reduces the risk of passing on inherited disease

- PGT–A - (previously known as PGS NGS) the price includes testing for 1 embryo (including 6 months storage and biopsy). For additional embryos there is an additional charge of £350 per embryo. In order to deliver PGTA you may require a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) (£1,750) and ICSI (£1,200) procedure which are additional costs. Full details and costs will be explained at your consultation.
- PGT-M - (previously known as PGD) The price shown is for single gene disorders set up fee. Additional to this is a per embryo test cost of £350.
- PGT-A and PGT-M are optional additional treatments to routine IVF treatment, to ensure our patients make an informed decision about whether using PGT-A or PGT-M as part of their treatment the HFEA provide further information which can be found on their website here.

Meet our Hertfordshire Fertility Specialists
Our dedicated Hertfordshire team have extensive experience in fertility care, and will walk you through every step of your journey from your initial ultrasound scan through to your personalised treatment plan.

Dr Fotodotis Malamas obtained a diploma in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound after completing his speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Alexandra University Hospital of Athens. Dr Malamas has also obtained the British Fertility Society certification in Pelvic Ultrasound, Management of the infertile couple, Assisted Conception, Embryo transfer and IUI. As with all doctors at CREATE Fertility, Dr Malamas strongly believes in the advantages of a more physiological and gentle approach to IVF, that is individually tailored to patients: reducing risks and promoting better outcomes for mothers and babies.

Dr Abhijit Kulkarni is a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists UK (MRCOG). He is highly experienced in all aspects of reproductive medicine & endocrinology including management of polycystic ovaries, egg freezing, same sex couples, recurrent implantation failure after IVF treatment, recurrent miscarriage and those with premature ovarian insufficiency.

Dr Martin Wilding is laboratory director at our London Fertility clinic in St Paul's and has worked in many top ranking IVF centres throughout Europe, including Italy and Switzerland where he has practised IVF and ICSI since 1999. He has over 50 research papers in the field of human reproduction, a degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. in the physiology of fertilisation from University College London.

St Albans and Potters Bar are the closest train stations to London Colney, and from these it is just a short bus journey to the clinic.
The 84A bus towards New Barnet Station leaves from Stop B at St Albans station and stops on the High Street opposite King's Road. It is then a short walk down the road to the clinic. Bus 84 also travels in the opposite direction, from the Bus Garage at Potters Bar, stopping at the same bus stop.
We kindly request that visitors refrain from parking outside the clinic. For your convenience, alternative free parking is available 5 minutes walking distance to the clinic. These are at Caledon Community Centre (Caledon Road, London Colney, St Albans AL2 1PS) and behind the Co-Op (7-9 Haseldine Road, London Colney, St Albans AL2 1RR). There is an alleyway off Manor Road leading straight to the practice.
There are cafes and shops located on the nearby High Street.
