PGT–A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidies)
- Used to assess embryos for chromosomal abnormalities

PGT-M (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Monogenic/Single-Gene Disorders)
- Used to assess embryos for genetic diseases

- PGT–A - (previously known as PGS NGS) the price includes testing for 1 embryo (including 6 months storage and biopsy). For additional embryos there is an additional charge of £350 per embryo. In order to deliver PGTA you may require a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) (£1,750) and ICSI (£1,200) procedure which are additional costs. Full details and costs will be explained at your consultation.
- PGT-M - (previously known as PGD) The price shown is for single gene disorders set up fee. Additional to this is a per embryo test cost of £350.
- PGT-A and PGT-M are optional additional treatments to routine IVF treatment, to ensure our patients make an informed decision about whether using PGT-A or PGT-M as part of their treatment the HFEA provide further information which can be found on their website here.

Meet our Birmingham Fertility Specialists
Our dedicated Birmingham team have extensive experience in fertility care, and will walk you through every step of your journey from your initial ultrasound scan through to your personalised treatment plan.

Adrija Kumar Datta, MD, FRCOG, serves as the Lead Consultant at CREATE, Birmingham, UK, and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Bolton University. Dr Datta has achieved a distinguished academic profile including a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from the University of Calcutta.

Dr. Nirmal Felix completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in India with distinction. She pursued postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in both India and the East Midlands Deanery, gaining experience at hospitals in Nottingham, Leicester, and Chesterfield. She became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2011.

Dr. Shamim Byrne, a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG) and associate member of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health, has over 25 years of experience in women’s health, including more than a decade in senior NHS roles, and has contributed to teaching, research, and ethics through her service on the Nottingham II research ethics committee.

Paul, a biology graduate from the University of Manchester with over 20 years of experience in clinical embryology and research and a decade in healthcare management, is a registered Clinical Scientist with the Health & Care Professions Council and a diplomate of the Royal College of Pathologists. As Laboratory Manager and Head of Laboratory Compliance at CREATE Fertility’s Birmingham clinic, he oversees embryology duties, ensures adherence to HFEA standards, and has driven advancements such as a new In Vitro Maturation (IVM) service and improved vitrification techniques, raising survival rates from 65-70% to over 90%.

The nearest train station is Birmingham International train station. There are direct trains to this station from Birmingham New Street station. Patients travelling from other parts of the Midlands will have to change at Birmingham New Street station.
The number 75 bus stops at Fujitsu, which is a one minute walk from the clinic. This bus goes from Birmingham International station. An alternative bus is the 97A which stops at Helmswood drive, a 14 minute walk from the clinic. This bus also leaves regularly from Birmingham International station.
There is free allocated "CREATE Fertility" parking available at the rear of the clinic. Please park in these bays only as you will be asked to move your vehicle if parked in a non allocated space.
Country pub The Little Owl serves seasonal pub food and is located round the corner from the clinic, just a 5 minute walk away. There is also a local Holiday Inn if you are looking for accommodation.
