I have blocked fallopian tubes so we needed some help when it came to conceiving and had my first son with the help of another fertility clinic many years ago. During that cycle we also managed to create extra embryos which we froze for potential future use if we decided to grow our family.
When we finally decided that we wanted to try for a sibling we knew that we didn’t want to travel back to London for treatment so we decided to look at clinics closer to us. This is when we came across CREATE Fertility Cardiff.
I fell in love with CREATE’s approach to IVF treatment straight away. At the previous clinic I was very heavily stimulated, and although I’m very grateful that the treatment had worked and I now have a son, it was extremely difficult on me physically and mentally. When I heard that CREATE can offer a milder more natural treatment, I was sold right away. We decided to transfer our embryos over to CREATE and start treatment right away.
I’m now literally telling everyone about CREATE! By comparison, my treatment at CREATE was a breeze. It was so much easier on my body and also shorter in duration. I absolutely loved the approach, but being 40 I didn’t hold much confidence that it would work.
When I received the phone call to inform me that I was pregnant, I was over the moon. I just couldn’t believe it.
I am so grateful to CREATE for everything they have done! I’ve now given birth to a very healthy and happy little boy and life is absolutely amazing. We’ve always wanted to grow our family and thanks to CREATE we were able to create the perfect family.
I also can’t fault the staff. They have been absolutely phenomenal and I always felt looked after. Infertility isn’t an easy journey at all so kindness and compassion really does go a long way. Lastly, for anyone who is still trying and hoping for their own please don’t give up. Keep trying, for as long as you can because it’s so worth it.
