But what are the Benefits of Egg Vitrification?
The process of rapidly freezing the egg cell is an extremely intricate scientific process. The problem, in previous methods, was that a slow-freezing process was used but, on many occasions, was not successful due to ice crystals forming within the cell, damaging its structure. By dehydrating the cell using specialised freezing techniques, the eggs are able to freeze quickly before ice crystals can form.
