Dr Nagi Rostom graduated from Alexandria University and developed his medical career in the UK, where he gained extensive experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine and IVF across leading NHS and private fertility centres.
Currently the Lead Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine at CREATE Fertility Wimbledon, he provides the full scope of fertility treatment including IVF, fertility preservation, egg collection and embryo transfer.
Alongside fertility care, Dr Rostom has extensive experience in antenatal and high-risk obstetric care, having managed thousands of pregnancies and deliveries involving complex medical conditions. His background in obstetrics and maternal medicine allows him to support patients not only in achieving pregnancy, but also in optimising preconception health and understanding the important medical considerations that contribute to safer pregnancies and improved outcomes.
He also has specialist expertise in advanced ambulatory hysteroscopy and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, and has led service development projects including the introduction and expansion of hysteroscopy services within fertility settings. Dr Rostom additionally provides highly specialised abdominal egg collection and surgical sperm retrieval services for complex fertility cases.
Dr Rostom is also the holder of the EFOG-EBCOG qualification awarded by the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, recognising advanced European-level training and expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology. He has received awards recognising his commitment to patient-centred care and teaching excellence, including the WOW Award - a recognition awarded to healthcare professionals who go above and beyond in delivering exceptional patient care and service. He has also featured in the documentary series One Born Every Minute, reflecting his extensive experience in obstetric and maternity care.
