If you are eligible for NHS-funded IVF, you can choose CREATE Fertility Manchester as your treatment provider. We have no waiting list to commence treatment, and most patients can start on their next cycle after referral.
We are proud to work with local CCGs in Stockport, Trafford, Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Salford, Tameside & Glossop and Heywood Middleton & Rochdale.
Your local NHS fertility service can refer you to CREATE Fertility if you meet the eligibility criteria for NHS-funded IVF. The process to get referred to CREATE is simple. When the clinician informs you that you are eligible for NHS IVF, all you need to do is request to be referred to CREATE Fertility Manchester for treatment. They will fill out a referral form on your behalf and send it to us. We will review your details, confirm your eligibility, and one of our patient co-ordinators will contact you to book in your first appointment.
Once we receive a referral, it usually takes no longer than 5 days to in touch with you, unless there are medical circumstances which require further investigation.
Your patient coordinator will find out if you have any individual circumstances that we need to take into account before your first booking, such as organising a translator for you or a preference for an out-of-hours appointment.

IVF Consultant
Dr Nafee graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Alexandria University of Egypt in 1994.
He completed his basic training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and specialized training in Reproductive Medicine, while simultaneously researching ovulation and polycystic ovaries. He was awarded a Doctorate degree MD in 2010 for his work and attained the position of a clinical lecturer.
Dr Nafee then moved to the UK, achieved membership of the Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynecologists MRCOG in 2008, and focused on the study of genomics and epigenetics. Dr Nafee was awarded his second Doctorate degree PhD from the University of Sheffield in 2016 for his work on microRNAs in embryo – endometrial communication at the time of embryo implantation. His special clinical interests include assisted conception, implantation failure, ovulation abnormalities and advanced reproductive ultrasonography.
IVF Consultant
Lamiya Mohiyiddeen is a consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. She has been a consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecology at St.Mary’s hospital since 2013. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester.
Lamiya graduated from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India in 2000. She has since completed her specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology from the Northwestern Deanery, followed by subspecialist training in Reproductive Medicine at St.Mary’s hospital, Manchester. She completed her MD from the University of Manchester in 2013, researching in pharmacogenetics of patients undergoing IVF treatment.
She is a member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and other societies including British Fertility Society (BFS) and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
Lamiya has clinical interests in the management of subfertility, assisted reproduction, outpatient hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic management of uterine anomalies and recurrent miscarriage. She is the lead for the recurrent miscarriage service at St.Mary’s hospital.
Lamiya is the founder and convener of North of England Reproductive Medicine Group (NOERG) meetings. She has published widely both in journals and books. She has also recently jointly secured NIHR grant for endometrial scratch study. Her current research focuses on recurrent implantation failure, recurrent miscarriage and pharmacogenetics of IVF patients.
IVF Consultant
Dr Yazan Abdallah is a consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He is skilled in female and male fertility treatments including assisted conception (IVF), reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation in cancer survivors, growth and disorders of sexual development, genetics and ultrasound. He is also experienced in reproductive minimal access surgeries including hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
He previously trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the North West Thames London Deanery and attained his membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). He then completed his subspecialist training at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester.
He has a PhD from Imperial College London where he is currently an Honorary Clinical Lecturer. The research he carried out introduced safer new practice in the diagnosis of miscarriage in UK in internationally in 2011. He also researched uterine blood flow in relation to endometrial receptivity. also collaborated with the IOTA group focusing on the use of ultrasound in the diagnosis of ovarian masses.

Assisted conception is a collective name for treatments designed to lead to conception by means other than sexual intercourse. If you or a family member have experienced fertility problems or are currently undergoing treatment or may need to access a fertility treatment service in the future, we want to hear from you.

The nearest train station is only 8 minutes' walk from the clinic. Wilmslow Overground station has great connections with Manchester Piccadilly and neighbouring towns and cities.
We have dedicated onsite parking at the clinic, patients need to only drive up to the barrier, buzz us and park in a space marked 'CREATE Fertility'.
There are several amenities around CREATE Fertility Manchester. The Water Lane high street offers many restaurants, coffee shops and boutique retail shops.
