Mild IVF | Mild Stimulation IVF

Mild Stimulation IVF, also known as Mild IVF, Mini IVF and IVF Lite, is a form of IVF that uses significantly lower doses of drugs than traditional, high stimulation IVF. It is kinder and safer for the body reducing the duration of medication to just 5-9 days – this in turn reduces the risks and side effects associated with high stimulation of IVF. It maybe milder on the body, but our success rates with Mild IVF are excellent.

Mild IVF is perfect for women wishing to minimise medication and avoid the risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome. Also for women looking for a treatment that has a reduced negative impact on their lives.

What is Mild IVF?

Mild IVF – like Natural IVF – is carried out within a woman’s natural menstrual cycle. Unlike conventional IVF where you would receive daily medication for an initial 2 weeks to suppress your hormones, Mild Stimulation IVF, takes a milder approach where simulating medication is given for just 5-9 days.

By using gentler stimulation and working with the body’s natural cycle, rather than against it, we aim to collect eggs of much higher quality. The treatment time for Mild IVF is just two weeks and involves lower doses of drugs, making it a more suitable option for many women.

Who is Mild IVF suitable for?

Every woman who has normal/high egg reserve is suitable for this treatment. Other situations include those with no female infertility and only male factor infertility, or those with Polycystic Ovaries (PCO)/Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

Those that want to take a minimal amount of medications will also benefit, as do those that want to avoid the risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome. Many women choose Mild IVF because they want treatment that is fitted around them and which has reduced impact on their lives.

'I would 100% recommend CREATE; we are so grateful for how they have changed our lives for the better.'

I would 100% recommend CREATE approach to IVF treatment over the conventional, high stimulation approached offered by other clinics. Having experienced both approaches, my body and mind responded so much better with the lower levels of drugs. What’s the point of being pumped full of hormones when you don’t need to be?
