Current clinic closures don’t mean your IVF journey can’t begin
Whilst our treatments are temporarily paused during this COVID-19 crisis, we are dedicated to supporting you as much as possible by helping you start your IVF journey now, so that you are ready to begin treatment as soon as we recommence.
The initial consultation is the first step in every fertility journey and we are now offering virtual consultations with one of our highly experienced fertility specialists which you can have via video or phone, from the safety and comfort of your own home.
What is a virtual consultation?
As the title suggests, these consultations are led by one of our highly experienced fertility specialists, but are conducted either over the phone or via a video link. During the first part of your 90-minute consultation, your fertility doctor will find out more about you and your partner’s (if applicable) medical and fertility history, talk you through potential treatment options and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You will then have a 30-minute conversation with your patient coordinator who will take you through your likely treatment plan, costs, and next steps.
At Home AMH blood tests
To help provide us with a more detailed insight into your fertility health, we recommend that you opt to include the at home AMH blood testing kit. The kit provides you with everything you need to do a simple finger prick blood test which is really easy to do and only takes a minute. You will then send your sealed blood sample back to us using a pre-paid and addressed envelope, and we'll do the rest!
We highly recommend that you include this at home blood test when you book your virtual consultation, as the results will give us a much better understanding of your individual fertility health and help us to give you a more tailored treatment plan.
What are the benefits of a virtual consultation?
Once you have decided you want to start your IVF journey, we know that the last thing you want to do is wait. Undertaking a virtual initial consultation means that you will be ready to begin treatment as soon as we recommence.
You will have access to the same team of fertility specialists and bespoke care, and we have extended our consultation slots to include the evenings and weekends so as to give you greater flexibility and more options. You'll then have time to think and consider all of your options so that you are ready to make an informed decision.
Next steps
After your virtual consultation, you will have a lot to think about. But we are here to support you the whole way and your patient coordinator will be available to answer any of your questions, whilst our clinics are closed.
Once you've had your virtual consultation and you decide you want to proceed with IVF treatment with us, we will book your treatment.
You'll have a virtual treatment consultant with your fertility consultant who will take you through all your consent forms and treatment details.
Once we recommence treatment in our clinics, your treatment will begin on your next cycle, and you will come into your nearest clinic to have you Advanced Ultrasound Scan and blood tests.
