Dr Sam Dobson
Mr Sam Dobson is a Consultant Gynaecologist and RCOG accredited sub-specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He is skilled in female and male fertility treatments including assisted conception (IVF), reproductive endocrinology, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), fertility preservation, recurrent miscarriage, implantation failure, surgical sperm retrieval and ultrasound.
Mr Dobson is an advanced minimal access (key hole) surgeon, holding a European diploma in endoscopic surgery. He specialises in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries for the treatment of sub-fertility and benign gynaecological reasons.
Mr Dobson is also a British Menopause Society (BMS) accredited Menopause Specialist. Other than the management of complex menopause problems, he has a special interest in the management of premature ovarian insufficiency (early menopause) and its related fertility complications.
He undertook the majority of his training in the East Midlands where he obtained his membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). He then completed his Sub-Specialist training at the Jessop Wing Assisted Conception unit, Sheffield.
Mr Dobson has published many scientific papers and book chapters on topics such as reproductive surgery, recurrent miscarriage, ultrasound, embryo transfer, Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and medical education.
